Arizona lost a great lawyer on November 12 when Michael Mulchay passed away. He was a strong supporter of the State Bar of Arizona, one who offered a huge amount of himself pro bono to assist the organization in the purchase of its current Phoenix building. His obituary begins:
“Michael V. Mulchay lost his courageous battle against brain cancer on November 12, 2011. Mike will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, an excellent and dedicated lawyer, an amateur historian, a sports fan, a loyal Wildcat, a genuine friend and a ‘generally nice guy.’”
Among many other accomplishments, Mike Mulchay was named the State Bar Member of the Year (with Ron Messerly) in 2005.
His funeral mass will be held this Friday, November 18, 1:30 pm, at Brophy Chapel, Phoenix.
