Looking for some examples of lawyers stepping up to help others? This month’s Arizona Attorney has a few examples.

It’s pretty common for us to hear from lawyers, bar associations and members of the public, wondering why “good-lawyer” stories aren’t more common. That’s surprising to me, because I think lawyers do great and helpful things all the time, for their communities, neighborhoods and organizations.

In our June issue, we offer articles about just three of those lawyers. Each of them contributed time and energy overseas.

I point you to the stories about Ian Neale, Nick Alcock and David Paige.

And the story continues. David Paige has been posting his journal entries from his work in Haiti. We were able to publish excerpts from some of those posts. But he’s been writing since then. Read online (and bookmark) his updates from Leogane.
