So, at long last, this is annual Convention week at the State Bar of Arizona. A wide selection of education seminars and just-plain-fun activities are packed into the three-day event held in Tucson at the Westin La Paloma this year.
Last year, I rolled the dice and decided that Arizona Attorney Magazine should cover the convention activities far more than we had in the past. While we had no interest in—or budget for—a printed “Convention Daily,” technology provided another possibility.
So in 2010, I provided coverage via our variety of electronic channels. And this year I’ll do it again. This week, the Convention Daily will come your way electronically.
Most stories about the convention will be posted on the AZ Attorney blog (right here—subscribe so you don’t miss anything). But I’ll also post content on our Facebook page and via Twitter. And I expect to use our brand-new online News Center, too.
Want to participate? Send me brief stories or story suggestions. Or if you have convention photos, we’d be glad to share them with readers.
So read about this year’s State Bar Convention—or post your own material. Questions or suggestions? Reach the Editor, Tim Eigo, at 602-908-6991.
Finally, if you’re at the event, feel free to stroll up and say hello. I’ll be hiking all over the Westin La Paloma property to cover the goings-on. Or you may catch me at the Arizona Attorney table in the Exhibitor area. If you miss me there, leave your card or a note.
I may even leave a box soliciting story ideas or seeking authors. And I am considering drawing a card or two at the end of Convention to award a great gift.
See you in the Old Pueblo.Follow @azatty
